Top Federal Police Agency Increases Order for Onset’s METAmessage Emergency
Onset Technology, a leading developer of beyond-email applications for smartphones, announced today it had received a repeat order from a top federal police agency for METAmessage Gateway and Emergency Communications licenses. The agency, a long-time Onset customer, implemented Onset METAmessage solutions in order to ensure effective messaging in the event email infrastructure is offline and to maximize a mobile officer’s ability to communicate when all other means are down. Onset’s comprehensive “beyond email” solutions are designed for users of the BlackBerry® wireless platform from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM).
